George Kissi was born in Ghana, West
Africa and immigrated to the United Kingdom in 1992 after graduating
from High School. He became a missionary in England for The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from 1992 to 1994, preaching the
Gospel and bringing souls to Christ. Although no longer an active member
of the church, he continues to live the values and principles taught by
Jesus Christ and believes in doing good and helping others no matter
what. After serving as a missionary for two years, he continued to live
and work in England and saved enough money so he could attend college
one day. In 1998 he moved to Ohio to attend the Ohio State University.
Because of his great interest in computers and technology, he later
transferred to DeVry University where he earned a bachelors degree in
Computer Information Systems in 2002. He worked as a Network
Administrator for the State of Ohio Department of Adminstrative Services
from 2000 to 2002. He later worked for Sterling Commerce, a software
development company in Dublin, OH as a Software Developer.
In 2005, he resigned from his job in order to start his consulting firm KissiComputers, LLC and also become a private investor in the stock market. After successfully investing in the stock market he founded a day trading and investment company to mentor individuals seeking financial
independence. It is his hope and dream that he can empower individuals
to achieve whatever they desire in life. He strongly believes that
each one of us have the power within us to achieve our dreams and goals
in life. The only thing standing in the way of our success is
ourselves. His vision is to help disadvantaged children through this
foundation to change their lives for good.
As a former missionary and christian he knows what it takes to bring
hope and day light to those who think all is lost. George has already
touched and changed the lives of many individuals who had given up hope.
He believes that we can all help bring hope and heal the world of the
devastation and suffering experienced by children in developing
countries. We each have a role to play in ensuring that all children are
protected from child abuse, child trafficking, child labour and a host
of other deplorable fates that indigent or abandoned children suffer
through out the world.
Today, George continues to work as president and snr consultant for his company KissiComputers, LLC,
a life coach, mentor and private investor but the majority of his time
is spent running the day to day activities of UjimaCare in order to help
disadvantaged children. It is his hope that you'll join in his effort
in bringing hope and happiness to all disadvantaged or abandoned
children.
In March of 1999 he got married to his lovely wife Sonya and they currently reside in Dublin, OH with their three adorable
children Qiani, Omari, and Imani. Sonya has been his rock and is
instrumental in the success of this foundation. It is her love and care
for all children that spurs George on to continue helping poor children
despite any obstacles he encounters.
